The Custom Learning Design leadership team is comprised of outstanding learning and development professionals with extensive industry experience.

Ria O’Donnell

Ria is a recognised thought leader in the field of learning technologies. She has written a book on the topic, and is also the founder of Custom Learning Design.

With 20 years of experience in training, Ria has extensive knowledge and experience in designing and developing tailored and diverse training packages and believes in creating the best possible experience for the learner.

Ria’s early career as a teacher and incredible collection of university degrees and experiences has paved the way to working within the corporate sector. Taylor and Francis have published her first book titled Transformative Digital Technologies for Effective Workplace Learning, and she prides herself on continuous and lifelong Learning.

Katie Sedgfield

Katie is a talented training package designer who multi-tasks in all areas of the Custom Learning Design business.

With a strong background in customer service and administration, Katie supports and participates in developing and administering department goals, objectives, and procedures. Katie enjoys a creative challenge and has meticulous attention to detail.

Katie provides our clients with top-level service and is a keen designer using Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and many other tools.

Her support for our management team, problem-solving skills, effective teamwork and respect for deadlines proves her to be an extremely valuable asset to Custom Learning Design.

Sean O’Donnell

Sean boasts over 25 years experience with project and program management, and manages the Custom Learning Design portfolio.

Sean is our Operations Manager. With extensive experience in program and project management, cyber security and business consulting, Sean plays a lead role in the planning, executing, and delivery of our projects to the highest standards.

Sean is a passionate problem solver who loves to learn about new organisations and industries and see how they operate. He is at the forefront of new technologies and always experimenting with ways in which our training programs can be improved.

He is a strong believer in lifelong learning, constantly looking to better himself and his processes.
