Ria O’Donnell
Ria is a recognised thought leader in the field of learning technologies. She has written a book on the topic, and is also the founder of Custom Learning Design.
With 20 years of experience in training, Ria has extensive knowledge and experience in designing and developing tailored and diverse training packages and believes in creating the best possible experience for the learner.
Ria’s early career as a teacher and collection of university degrees and experiences has paved the way to working within the corporate sector.
Taylor and Francis have published her first book titled Transformative Digital Technologies for Effective Workplace Learning, and she prides herself on continuous and lifelong Learning.
Sean O’Donnell
Sean boasts over 25 years experience with project and program management, and manages the Custom Learning Design portfolio.
Sean is our Operations Manager. With extensive experience in program and project management, cyber security and business consulting, Sean plays a lead role in the planning, executing, and delivery of our projects to the highest standards.
Sean is a passionate problem solver who loves to learn about new organisations and industries and see how they operate. He is at the forefront of new technologies and always experimenting with ways in which our training programs can be improved.
He is a strong believer in lifelong learning, constantly looking to better himself and his processes.
Katie Sedgfield
Katie is a talented instructional designer who multi-tasks in all areas of the Custom Learning Design business.
Katie provides our clients with top-level service and is a keen designer using Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and many other tools. Katie enjoys a creative challenge and has meticulous attention to detail.
Her support for our management team, problem-solving skills, effective teamwork and respect for deadlines proves her to be an extremely valuable asset to Custom Learning Design.
Saoirse Kirby
Saoirse is a talented instructional designer who leads the design and development of many of our projects.
Saoirse is a Senior Instructional Designer with vast experience across a variety of industries, liaising with clients to design and develop innovative onboarding and training content that suit learners of all abilities and learning styles.
She is particularly passionate about developing and designing e-learning content using authoring tools such as Articulate to consistently engage learners and simplify the learning process.
